DaySpring hires new vice president

Cardmaker DaySpring has hired Kathleen Turner as vice president of strategic marketing.

"Kathleen is a classically trained marketer and very skilled in the science of consumer insights and research analysis," said James Barnett, DaySpring president.

Turner comes to DaySpring from Sam's Club, where she served as senior director of consumer strategy. Prior to Sam's, she was the director of consumer insights at Tyson Foods, and also led her own consulting firm and advertising agency, serving as president of marketing & research partners, with clients including Fortune 500 companies such as American Airlines, Frito-Lay, Coca-Cola and Ernst & Young.
