Gratefulimages refocuses on licensing

Gratefulimages is refocusing on its art, not its products, and discontinuing its smaller items, including bookmarks, cards, notepads and magnets. The company is also planning a move from Houston to Michigan this spring.

The company has "had a lot of success" with its license for Demdaco's "Sure Grace" ceramics line, said Elizabeth Trask, marketing coordinator, and plans to expand its licenses in the future. "Our focus has always been the artwork," Trask said.

Products in its discontinued lines are now on sale at 75% off. The company will continue its limited-edition prints of Emily Beynon's art and the "Sure Grace" line.

In partnership with Frame Changers, gratefulimages also recently introduced an iPhone/iTouch wallpaper application. Users can choose from two different apps, each with 10 of Beynon's images, for 99 cents each. The "tree Bible iArt" or "crosses Bible iArt" apps are available through the iTunes or iPhone app store.
