NewGrowth-webNew Growth Press and GRACE (Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment) have launched a strategic partnership to help each organization better fulfill its mission.

Founded by Basyle “Boz” Tchividjian in 2004, GRACE exists to empower the Christian community to recognize and respond to the sin of child abuse. GRACE accomplishes its mission through education and training and by working hand in hand with other Christian organizations and churches to serve those who have been abused within the faith community. The new partnership enables GRACE to continue to focus on its mission while allowing New Growth Press to publish and distribute content that equips and builds the church.

“GRACE is so excited to begin working with New Growth Press in developing and publishing resources that will transform our faith communities into the safest places for children and those who have suffered from abuse,” Tchividjian said. “I am prayerful that this partnership will help equip the Christian community to lead the world in bringing an end to the dark horrors of child abuse. I believe Jesus demands nothing less from us.”

The partnership model embraced by GRACE fits well with New Growth Press’s publishing model, which has brought the growing publisher into partnership with other ministries, including Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF), Serge, Harvest USA, World Reformed Fellowship and Key Life Network.

“We are grateful to have a part in bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to bear on the terrible problem of sexual abuse in Christian environments through this publishing partnership,” said New Growth Press President Karen Teears. “GRACE’s mission of educating and protecting churches, families and children from this evil is right in line with our publishing mission of bringing the healing and hope of the gospel into our broken world.”

New Growth Press plans to publish the first GRACE resources in 2015.
