A family goes on a road trip starting in California, traveling to North Carolina and then to Colorado. New sights and ways to celebrate Jesus’ birth plus visits with family and friends make for 17 wonderful Christmases.
Viewers are invited to step into 18th-century England and experience the transformation of one man, whose search for peace haunts him even as he pours himself into a life of service and evangelism. Based closely on the life events of John Wesley, his story reads like a Hollywood screenplay—house fire, near shipwreck on the high seas, adventure in a new world and ill-fated romance. Wesley’s spiritual struggle and renewal is manifest while viewers learn about his controversial “Method.” Marked by confrontation, tension and mob violence, Wesley’s perseverance compelled him to a new type of itinerant, open-air ministry to the lowest classes of society.
The desire for something spiritually substantive in an increasingly artificial world brought a group of twentysomething friends from Northern Ireland together to form Rend Collective Experiment. Exploring the intersection between God, life and community, the group’s music grows out of “a natural, non-manufactured environment,” band member Gareth Gilkeson said. Songs include “You Bled,” “Come On” and “Faithful,” a collaboration with artist David Crowder.
When Joseph was a boy, his father taught him how to pray and how to work. He grew up to be a good, kind man, and when God asked him to care for and protect Mary and Jesus, he obeyed. This illustrated book tells the story of Joseph’s life for children 4 to 8.
